
Research and Evaluation Manager, Manager 3

- Lead and manage the research and evaluation team, providing direction, guidance, and support in all aspects of their work.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for research and evaluation projects to support the City's goals and objectives.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to assess the effectiveness and impact of City programs and services.
- Provide expert consultation and guidance to City departments and leaders on research and evaluation methodologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify research and evaluation needs and priorities.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators and outcomes to inform decision making and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with community organizations and academic institutions to support research and evaluation efforts.
- Stay informed on emerging trends, best practices, and legislative changes related to research and evaluation in order to make recommendations for improvement.
- Manage the budget and resources for the research and evaluation team, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Represent the City in meetings, conferences, and other events related to research and evaluation.
- Foster a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion in all research and evaluation efforts.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards and protocols in all research and evaluation activities.
- Train and mentor staff on research and evaluation methodologies and techniques.
- Prepare and present reports, presentations, and other communication materials on research and evaluation findings to various stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the research and evaluation processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Research And Evaluation, Preferably In A Government Or Public Sector Setting.
Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Public Policy, Social Sciences, Or Statistics.
Demonstrated Experience In Designing And Implementing Research Studies, Including Data Collection, Analysis, And Reporting.
Strong Project Management Skills And The Ability To Lead A Team In A Fast-Paced And Deadline-Driven Environment.
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Present Complex Data And Findings To Diverse Audiences.
