  1. Develop and implement strategies for providing accessible and engaging learning opportunities to a diverse community.
  2. Collaborate with team members to design and deliver innovative and inclusive informal learning experiences for residents of all ages and backgrounds.
  3. Oversee the planning and execution of workshops, events, and other educational programs, ensuring they align with the city's goals and objectives.
  4. Manage the budget for the informal learning services program, making strategic decisions to optimize resources and ensure financial sustainability.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with community partners to support the development and delivery of informal learning opportunities.
  6. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in informal learning, and use this knowledge to continuously improve and enhance the program.
  7. Develop and implement evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness of the program and make data-driven decisions for improvement.
  8. Lead a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure a high level of performance and engagement.
  9. Communicate regularly with stakeholders, including city officials, community members, and program participants, to promote the program and gather feedback for improvement.
  10. Represent the city's informal learning services program at meetings, events, and conferences to raise awareness and build partnerships.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to informal learning services.
  12. Collaborate with other city departments to identify and pursue opportunities for cross-departmental programming and partnerships.
  13. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  14. Continuously seek ways to improve and innovate the program, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and staying attuned to the needs of the community.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to the city's mission and values, and serve as a role model for staff and program participants.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Education, Instructional Design, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Program Management, Preferably In An Informal Learning Setting.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Implementing Innovative And Engaging Learning Programs.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage Multiple Projects And Meet Deadlines.
