Job Description

The City of Seattle is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Hydrologic and Hydraulic Modeler to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for developing, calibrating and verifying hydrologic and hydraulic models to help us better understand and manage the city's water resources.The ideal candidate for this role will have a master's degree in civil engineering or related technical field, and 5+ years of experience in hydraulic and hydrologic engineering and related numerical methods. You should also have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.If you are an organized, detail-oriented professional with experience in hydrology and hydraulics, we encourage you to apply.
