Job Description

The City of Seattle is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Employee and Labor Relations Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the systems that support our employee and labor relations processes. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and experience in both employee and labor relations and systems analysis.   1. Manage and maintain systems that support employee and labor relations processes for the City of Seattle.
  2. Conduct analysis of current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
  3. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and technology advancements related to employee and labor relations systems.
  4. Collaborate with HR and labor relations teams to understand their needs and requirements for system functionality.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing systems, and implement solutions to enhance performance and user experience.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for systems and processes.
  7. Ensure data integrity and accuracy within employee and labor relations systems.
  8. Communicate system updates and changes to relevant stakeholders.
  9. Conduct testing and implement updates and enhancements to systems as needed.
  10. Train and support HR and labor relations staff on system usage and functionality.
  11. Proactively identify and address potential system issues or risks.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new systems or processes into existing systems.
  13. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to employee and labor relations systems.
  14. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of systems and processes, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
  15. Participate in special projects and initiatives related to employee and labor relations systems as assigned.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Employee And Labor Relations, Preferably In A Government Or Public Sector Environment.

  • Demonstrated Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Laws And Regulations Related To Labor Relations And Employee Rights.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Evaluate Complex Data And Make Recommendations For Resolution.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Effectively Communicate Policies, Procedures, And Labor Agreements.
