- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement modernization plans for the city's electrical grid.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement in the current grid system.
- Design and develop innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the electrical grid.
- Work closely with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
- Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications for grid modernization projects.
- Utilize industry best practices and standards to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess the condition of existing electrical infrastructure.
- Provide technical expertise and support to project teams and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements and trends in electrical engineering and apply them to project design and development.
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors to procure equipment and materials for grid modernization projects.
- Assist in project budgeting and cost estimation.
- Communicate project progress, challenges, and recommendations to project managers and other stakeholders.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and interns.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure project compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and events to promote our innovative grid modernization efforts.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field From An Accredited University.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In The Design, Operation, And Maintenance Of Electrical Grids.
Familiarity With Grid Modernization And Renewable Energy Technologies.
Strong Understanding Of Electrical Codes, Standards, And Regulations.
