  15. Continuously evaluate and improve upon job performance and seek opportunities for professional growth.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Full-Time, Sworn Police Officer In Another Agency.

  • Must Possess A Valid Peace Officer Standards And Training (Post) Certificate.

  • Completion Of A Certified Lateral Entry Program Or Equivalent Training As Deemed Acceptable By The Department.

  • Must Pass A Physical Fitness Test And Meet Departmental Standards For Physical Ability.

  • Must Pass A Comprehensive Background Investigation, Including A Polygraph Examination And Psychological Evaluation.
