Job Description

The City of Portland, Oregon is looking for an experienced, highly-motivated Vehicle & Equipment Mechanic to join our team. We need a passionate, self-driven individual who is eager to learn and take on the responsibility of servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles and equipment. The successful candidate must possess a minimum of three years of experience in mechanical repair and maintenance of motor vehicles, heavy equipment, and small engines, have experience working with gasoline, diesel fuel, and electric motors, and have a valid driver's license. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, can take direction, and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
