  1. Assist in the implementation and management of the rental services program to ensure the provision of safe and affordable housing for low-income individuals and families in the community.
  2. Conduct outreach and provide information to individuals and families seeking housing assistance, including eligibility requirements, application procedures, and available resources.
  3. Collaborate with property owners, landlords, and property management companies to maintain and expand the inventory of affordable housing units in the community.
  4. Review and process applications for housing assistance, ensuring compliance with program guidelines and regulations.
  5. Conduct interviews and assessments to determine eligibility for housing assistance and provide referrals to other resources as needed.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program participants, including income verification and lease agreements.
  7. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure fair and equitable distribution of housing resources.
  8. Communicate with program participants, landlords, and other stakeholders to address any concerns and resolve conflicts as needed.
  9. Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to raise awareness about affordable housing options and resources available.
  10. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the rental services program and make recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
  11. Stay informed about federal, state, and local housing policies and regulations to ensure compliance and inform program development.
  12. Work closely with other departments and agencies to coordinate services and resources for program participants.
  13. Provide support and guidance to program participants in navigating the rental market, understanding their rights and responsibilities as tenants, and maintaining stable housing.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with program participants, landlords, and other stakeholders.
  15. Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by fostering teamwork, open communication, and mutual respect.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Urban Planning, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Rental Assistance Programs Or Housing Services

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Diverse Populations

  • Proficiency In Data Analysis And Ability To Track And Report Program Outcomes.
