1. Develop and implement inclusive recreational programs and activities for individuals with disabilities, ensuring that they are accessible and meet the diverse needs and abilities of participants.
2. Collaborate with community organizations and partners to promote and expand inclusive recreation opportunities in the community.
3. Plan and coordinate staff training and development opportunities to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants.
4. Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of staff to ensure a diverse and inclusive team.
5. Serve as a resource and advocate for individuals with disabilities, providing support and guidance to program participants and their families.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with community members and stakeholders, promoting the inclusive recreation programs and services offered by the City.
7. Monitor program budget and expenditures, ensuring responsible use of resources to maintain and expand inclusive recreation offerings.
8. Collaborate with other departments and city agencies to ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all city-sponsored events and activities.
9. Evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements and enhancements to meet the needs of participants.
10. Uphold the City's values of inclusivity, diversity, and equity in all aspects of the job, promoting a welcoming and accessible community for all.
