
District Coalition Coordinator
The City of Portland, Oregon is currently seeking an experienced, motivated and organized District Coalition Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative organization that is dedicated to ensuring a healthy, vibrant and safe environment for all Portlanders. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support and expand the capacity of district-wide coalitions to advance educational, health and safety outcomes for residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of working with diverse coalitions and community stakeholders, excellent communication and project management skills, and a commitment to equity and inclusion. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience • At least three years of professional experience in coalition building, community organizing, or related field • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders • Excellent communication, project management and problem-solving skills • Commitment to equity and inclusion • Knowledge of trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and strength-based approaches If you have a passion for making a positive impact in our community and possess the required qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this position.
