
Building Maintenance Technician
The City of Portland, Oregon is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are looking for an individual who has the experience and expertise to maintain, inspect, and repair the city’s buildings and structures. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in general construction and maintenance and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Our Building Maintenance Technician should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent-Minimum of three years of experience in general construction and maintenance-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills-Strong technical aptitude-Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills-Ability to lift heavy objects-Ability to work in a variety of settings, including indoors and outdoors
