  1. Monitor and maintain the proper operation of the water treatment plant, including all equipment and processes.

  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or malfunctions in the treatment process.
  5. Operate and maintain pumps, valves, and other equipment used in the treatment process.
  6. Keep accurate records of plant operations, maintenance, and repairs.
  7. Make adjustments to treatment processes as needed to maintain optimal water quality.
  8. Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement new processes or improvements for the treatment plant.
  9. Respond to emergency situations and take appropriate actions to mitigate any potential hazards.
  10. Assist in training and mentoring new operators.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in water treatment technology.
  12. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  13. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
  14. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  15. Continuously seek ways to improve and optimize plant operations.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent

  • Valid Class C Water Treatment Plant Operator License From The Pennsylvania Department Of Environmental Protection (Padep)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Water Treatment Plant

  • Knowledge Of Water Treatment Processes, Equipment, And Operations

  • Ability To Work A Flexible Schedule And Respond To Emergency Situations As Needed
