- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to continuously enhance the city's network capabilities.
- Conduct regular network performance evaluations and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Configure and maintain network security measures to protect against potential cyber threats.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and end-users.
- Monitor network performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
- Identify and resolve network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct research and make recommendations for the implementation of new technologies.
- Train and mentor junior network engineers.
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure effective network operations.
- Participate in the development and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Communicate and coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to understand their network needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Network Engineering, Preferably In A Large-Scale Environment.
Expert Knowledge Of Network Protocols, Such As Tcp/Ip, Bgp, And Ospf.
Experience With Network Security Technologies, Including Firewalls, Vpns, And Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems.
Professional Certifications, Such As Ccnp Or Ccie, Are Preferred.
