Job Description

At the City of Philadelphia, we are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Response Planning Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and efficient leader who can manage complex response planning projects while ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This position requires a deep understanding of the principles of emergency response planning and the ability to think strategically and execute with precision. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for building collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.To be successful in this role, the Response Planning Program Manager must have a minimum of five years of experience in program management, emergency response planning, and/or public administration, as well as a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Familiarity with local, state, and federal emergency response laws, regulations, and procedures is also essential. The ability to think quickly and make sound decisions in time-sensitive situations is also a must.We are looking for an individual who is creative, a self-starter, and has the drive and enthusiasm to help us achieve our mission of delivering effective, efficient, and equitable response planning to the City of Philadelphia.If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, we would love to hear from you!
