Job Description

Are you looking to launch an exciting and meaningful career in pension counseling? The City of Philadelphia is seeking a Pension Counselor Trainee to join our team. This role is a great opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in the pension counseling field while serving the public. The Pension Counselor Trainee will provide advice and assistance to City of Philadelphia employees and pensioners in all matters related to their pension benefits. They will provide accurate information on pension policies, procedures, and regulations. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with a diverse population.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field• At least one year of experience in customer service or a related field• Knowledge of pension regulations and procedures• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
