Job Description

The City of Philadelphia seeks an experienced and highly motivated PDI Attorney to join its team. This position is a highly specialized role that requires a great deal of legal expertise and knowledge of the Philadelphia Department of Inclusion (PDI). The ideal candidate has a passion for civil rights and the drive to help ensure that all people in the City of Philadelphia have the same rights, protections, and opportunities.Qualifications:• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar or the ability to obtain admission before the start of the position• At least three years of experience practicing law, with an emphasis on civil rights, labor and employment law, or public policy• Familiarity with the Philadelphia Department of Inclusion and its mission• Excellent analytical and research skills• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, with internal and external stakeholders• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Commitment to building a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplaceThe City of Philadelphia is committed to building a team of professionals who are passionate and experienced advocates for civil rights and social justice.
