  1. Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to protect critical technology systems and data.
  2. Monitor and assess potential risks and vulnerabilities in the City's digital infrastructure.
  3. Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  4. Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and address any weaknesses or gaps in security.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, tools, and protocols to continuously improve the City's security measures.
  6. Respond promptly to any security incidents and provide timely resolution and recovery.
  7. Conduct regular training and awareness campaigns to educate employees on security best practices and procedures.
  8. Work closely with third-party vendors and partners to ensure the security of shared systems and data.
  9. Maintain and update security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports.
  10. Collaborate with other IT teams to implement security measures during system upgrades and deployments.
  11. Proactively identify and address potential security risks in new and existing systems and applications.
  12. Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing.
  13. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and management to provide updates on security threats and incidents.
  14. Participate in security incident response drills and exercises to ensure readiness in case of a real-world incident.
  15. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and make recommendations for improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In It Security Or Network Security.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Best Practices And Standards For It Security, Such As Iso 27001 And Nist.

  • Experience With Security Tools And Technologies, Such As Firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, And Vulnerability Scanners.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Mitigate Potential Security Risks.
