
HMIS System Administrator

- Manage and maintain the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) for the City of Philadelphia.
- Ensure the accuracy, security, and accessibility of data within the HMIS.
- Monitor and troubleshoot any technical issues with the HMIS, working closely with IT teams to resolve them in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement procedures for data entry, data quality, and data privacy in compliance with federal regulations and local policies.
- Train and support users on the proper usage of the HMIS, including data entry, reporting, and analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including homeless service providers and government agencies, to identify and address their data management needs.
- Conduct regular audits of the HMIS to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices related to HMIS and homeless services.
- Collect and analyze data from the HMIS to inform decision-making and improve homeless services.
- Serve as a point of contact for any HMIS-related inquiries or concerns from internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for the HMIS.
- Assist with the development and implementation of new features or upgrades to the HMIS.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the HMIS is integrated and compatible with other systems used by the City.
- Uphold the values and mission of the City of Philadelphia in all aspects of the job.
- Demonstrate a commitment to serving the community and making a positive impact in the fight against homelessness.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Managing And Administering Hmis Systems.
Extensive Knowledge Of Database Management, Data Analytics, And Data Security Protocols.
Familiarity With Homeless Services And Programs, As Well As Understanding Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Hmis.
Strong Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Train And Support End-Users Of The System.
