Job Description

The City of Philadelphia is seeking an exceptional individual to serve as our Health and Medical Planning Coordinator. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to play an essential role in supporting the health and well-being of the City of Philadelphia and its citizens. The successful candidate will join a supportive and experienced team, and will be expected to use their expertise to ensure the development of efficient, effective, and collaborative strategies to support the City's health and medical needs.We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for public health and a commitment to making a positive impact on the City of Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, healthcare planning, and/or emergency management. They should be highly organized and able to work independently on multiple projects with tight deadlines. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to effectively interact and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare planning, or emergency management, or a closely related field • At least three years of experience in public health, healthcare planning, or emergency management • Knowledge of public health principles, practices, and regulations • Experience developing and implementing health and medical plans and policies • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders • Excellent organizational and project management skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Ability to work flexible hours, as needed
