  1. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  2. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks.
  3. Train and educate employees on safety protocols and procedures.
  4. Collaborate with various departments to implement safety programs and initiatives.
  5. Investigate and report any workplace accidents or incidents and recommend corrective actions.
  6. Stay updated on safety regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and standards.
  7. Conduct safety meetings and provide regular updates on safety issues and concerns.
  8. Respond to employee safety concerns and provide guidance and support.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety activities and incidents.
  10. Conduct emergency preparedness drills and develop emergency response plans.
  11. Monitor and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  12. Collaborate with external agencies and organizations for safety-related matters.
  13. Serve as a point of contact for all safety-related inquiries and concerns.
  14. Participate in safety committee meetings and provide recommendations for improving safety standards.
  15. Continuously assess and improve safety processes and procedures to enhance the overall safety culture of the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Environmental Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Workplace Safety And Health, Preferably In A Municipal Or Government Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Safety Laws And Regulations, Including Osha And Nfpa Standards.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Safety Procedures And Protocols.

  • Certification As A Safety Professional (Csp) Or Occupational Health And Safety Technician (Ohst) Is Preferred.
