- Develop and implement youth workforce programs that align with the goals and mission of the City of Philadelphia.
- Oversee all aspects of program management, including budgeting, staffing, and evaluation.
- Collaborate with various departments and community organizations to identify and address the needs of youth in the workforce.
- Create and maintain partnerships with local businesses to provide employment opportunities for program participants.
- Develop and implement strategies to engage and support youth from diverse backgrounds and communities.
- Provide leadership and guidance to program staff, including training and professional development opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the current job market and industry trends to inform program development.
- Monitor program outcomes and make necessary adjustments to ensure program effectiveness and success.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including funders and community leaders.
- Represent the City of Philadelphia and its youth workforce programs at public events and conferences.
- Develop and maintain program policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Evaluate program data and make data-driven decisions to continuously improve program outcomes.
- Collaborate with other city departments to align youth workforce programs with larger city initiatives and goals.
- Develop and manage program budgets and ensure responsible and effective use of resources.
- Keep abreast of best practices in youth development and workforce programming and incorporate them into program design and implementation.
- Advocate for the needs of youth in the workforce at the city and state level.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for program participants, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for program staff and participants.
- Communicate program updates and successes to stakeholders and the public through various channels, including social media and press releases.
- Continuously seek opportunities for program growth and expansion to better serve the needs of Philadelphia's youth.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Social Work, Education, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working With Youth And/Or Young Adults In A Workforce Development Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Local And National Workforce Development Policies And Programs.
Demonstrated Experience In Program Development, Implementation, And Evaluation.
Excellent Communication, Leadership, And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Community Partners And Stakeholders.
