  1. Develop and implement strategies to address disparities in home appraisals and promote equity in the housing market.
  2. Lead and manage a team of professionals to effectively carry out the goals and objectives of the Home Appraisal Equity Program.
  3. Collaborate with various stakeholders, including community organizations and government agencies, to identify and address systemic issues related to home appraisals.
  4. Develop and maintain partnerships with lending institutions and real estate professionals to ensure fair and equitable treatment for all homeowners.
  5. Stay informed on current housing trends, policies, and legislation to inform program development and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the program, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  7. Develop and manage the program's budget, ensuring funds are allocated effectively and efficiently.
  8. Provide regular reports and updates to city officials on the progress and impact of the Home Appraisal Equity Program.
  9. Represent the program and the city at community meetings and events to promote awareness and garner support.
  10. Stay updated on fair housing laws and regulations and ensure compliance in all program activities.
  11. Develop and implement training programs and resources for homeowners to educate them on their rights and how to advocate for fair appraisals.
  12. Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and equity within the program and its operations.
  13. Serve as a spokesperson and advocate for the program and its mission to promote equity and social justice in the housing market.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for growth and improvement for the Home Appraisal Equity Program.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Home Appraisal Principles And Techniques: A Director Of Home Appraisal Equity Program Should Possess A Thorough Understanding Of Home Appraisal Methodologies, Including Market Analysis, Property Valuation, And Comparative Analysis.

  • Extensive Experience In Real Estate Appraisal: This Role Requires A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Conducting Real Estate Appraisals, Preferably In A Municipal Or Government Setting. The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Accurately Assessing Property Values And Identifying Market Trends.
