- Testify in court and provide expert testimony when necessary.
- Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and procedures related to law enforcement and investigative work.
- Participate in training and development programs to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Handle sensitive and potentially dangerous situations with professionalism and composure.
- Work closely with other law enforcement agencies and departments as needed.
- Conduct follow-up investigations and gather additional evidence as needed.
- May be required to work irregular and/or extended hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Uphold the mission and values of the City of Los Angeles Police Department.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Police Officer With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Investigations.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Or A Related Field.
Completion Of Specialized Training In Investigative Techniques, Such As Interview And Interrogation, Evidence Collection, And Crime Scene Processing.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Other Law Enforcement Agencies And Departments.
Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Laws, As Well As Understanding Of Criminal Court Procedures And Legal Standards Of Evidence.
