  1. Create and maintain accurate and detailed electrical engineering drawings, plans, and schematics for various city projects and facilities.
  2. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to gather project requirements and specifications.
  3. Review and analyze existing electrical systems to identify potential issues and propose solutions for improvement.
  4. Conduct on-site visits and inspections to assess the current state of electrical systems and identify any necessary updates or repairs.
  5. Ensure all work is in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
  6. Research and recommend new technologies and techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness of electrical systems.
  7. Communicate and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical engineering issues that arise during project development or implementation.
  9. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all electrical systems and projects.
  10. Attend meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry advancements and best practices.
  11. Adhere to all safety protocols and protocols for working with electrical systems.
  12. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the city positively in all interactions with colleagues and the public.
  13. Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree In Electrical Engineering Technology Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Electrical Engineering Drafting.

  • Proficiency In Computer-Aided Design (Cad) Software, Such As Autocad.

  • Knowledge Of Electrical Codes And Standards, Including Nec And Nfpa.

  • Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Engineers And Other Technicians.
