A High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Vision And Hearing Technician At City Of Detroit Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Basic Knowledge And Skills In Reading, Writing, And Mathematics.
Certification In Vision And Hearing Testing: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Certification In Vision And Hearing Testing From An Accredited Institution. This Certification Demonstrates The Candidate's Proficiency In Conducting Accurate And Reliable Tests.
Experience In Vision And Hearing Testing: Candidates With Prior Experience In Vision And Hearing Testing Are Preferred For This Role. This Experience Can Be Gained Through Working In A Similar Role Or Through Internships Or Volunteering In Healthcare Settings.
