1. Provide social work services and support to individuals and families in need within the City of Detroit.
2. Conduct assessments to identify the needs and strengths of clients and develop appropriate intervention plans.
3. Collaborate with other city departments and community organizations to coordinate services and resources for clients.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
5. Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in emergency situations.
6. Advocate for clients' rights and access to services and resources.
7. Conduct home visits and outreach to engage with and assess the needs of community members.
8. Provide counseling and guidance to clients to promote positive behavior change and self-sufficiency.
9. Participate in trainings and workshops to continuously enhance knowledge and skills in the field of social work.
10. Serve as a liaison between clients and other service providers, including healthcare facilities, schools, and government agencies.
11. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention plans and make adjustments as needed.
