- Oversee the implementation and management of the Department of Human Services programs in the City of Detroit.
- Develop and maintain a strategic plan for the department, including setting goals, objectives, and performance metrics.
- Utilize technology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's programs.
- Analyze data and identify trends to inform decision making and program development.
- Develop and manage budgets for department programs.
- Collaborate with team members and other city departments to ensure effective program delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of program analysts and coordinators.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in program management and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders to support program goals.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- Prepare and present reports and updates on program performance to senior management and city officials.
- Continuously evaluate and improve program processes and procedures for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Handle any issues or challenges that arise in program implementation and management.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Computer Science, Business Administration, Or Public Administration.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Program Management, Preferably Within A Government Agency.
Proven Experience In Managing Large-Scale Programs And Projects, Including Budgeting, Resource Allocation, And Stakeholder Management.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Address Program Inefficiencies And Make Data-Driven Decisions.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Communicate Complex Information To Diverse Audiences.
