  16. Collaborate with other city departments to ensure seamless integration of structural plans with other aspects of city infrastructure.
  17. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all structural plans, designs, and reports.
  18. Represent the city in professional and community events to promote awareness and understanding of our structural projects and initiatives.
  19. Serve as a subject matter expert on structural engineering matters for the city.
  20. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth within the field of structural engineering.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering Or Related Field

  • Professional Engineer (P.e.) License In The State Of Michigan

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Structural Engineering

  • Proficiency In Structural Design Software Such As Autocad, Revit, And Staad

  • Knowledge Of Local Building Codes And Regulations In The City Of Detroit.
