  1. Manage and maintain databases to ensure their efficiency and reliability for the organization.
  2. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
  3. Develop and implement database policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data integrity and security.
  4. Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement database optimization solutions.
  5. Perform regular backups and disaster recovery tests to ensure data protection.
  6. Analyze and resolve database errors and inconsistencies.
  7. Stay updated with the latest database trends and technologies to continuously improve the organization's database systems.
  8. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and end-users on database-related issues.
  9. Create and maintain documentation of database systems, processes, and procedures.
  10. Work with other departments to understand their data needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
  11. Support data migration and integration projects.
  12. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
  13. Train and mentor junior database administrators.
  14. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and maintenance.
  15. Continuously monitor and improve database security to prevent data breaches.

Job Qualifications
