  13. Assist in emergency repairs and vehicle breakdowns when needed.
  14. Follow city policies and procedures for vehicle maintenance and repair.
  15. Represent the City of Detroit in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education In Automotive Technology Or Related Field.

  • Completion Of A Certified Automotive Technician Program Or Equivalent Work Experience.

  • Valid State Driver's License And Clean Driving Record.

  • Knowledge And Experience With A Variety Of Automotive Systems, Including Electrical, Mechanical, And Computerized Components.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Diagnose And Repair Complex Automotive Issues.
