- Collaborate with the Engineering Department and other city departments to plan, design, and manage public works projects.
- Conduct research and analysis to support the development of project plans and proposals.
- Utilize technical knowledge and expertise to review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Assist in the preparation and review of project budgets, cost estimates, and bids.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
- Communicate with the public and respond to inquiries regarding public works projects.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and regulations to provide innovative and efficient solutions for projects.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the City of Burbank's mission and values, and actively contribute to the overall success of the Engineering Department.
Bachelor's Degree In Civil Engineering Or Related Field From An Accredited University.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Civil Engineering Design And Project Management.
Proficiency In Autocad, Civil 3D, And Other Relevant Design Software.
Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Regulations And Codes Related To Civil Engineering.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Work With Team Members And Stakeholders.
