Associate Planner

You should also be familiar with the principles and practices of city planning, as well as the legal and regulatory requirements of planning and land use.We are looking for an individual who is able to prioritize multiple tasks, take initiative, and think critically to come up with long-term solutions. 3. Creating presentations and reports to communicate data and findings.

5. Researching and interpreting local, state, and federal regulations related to planning and land use.
6. Assisting with the development and implementation of policy related to urban planning.
7. Working with other departments and agencies to ensure compliance with regulations.
8. Collaborating with other departments to develop long-term solutions to urban planning issues.
9. Participating in public hearings and meetings.
10. Assisting with the preparation of grant applications.
