Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Administrative Analyst to join the City of Burbank team. As an integral part of our team, the Administrative Analyst will support the City in achieving its mission by performing a variety of complex administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of taking initiative.The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field, and have at least three years of experience in an administrative capacity. Additionally, the Administrative Analyst must have experience using Microsoft Office applications and working with databases. Superior interpersonal and communication skills are also a must. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform complex administrative functions to support the City of Burbank in achieving its mission.
  2. Utilize Microsoft Office applications and databases to assist in administrative tasks.
  3. Take initiative and be organized and detail-oriented in all administrative tasks.
  4. Maintain excellent customer service standards when dealing with external stakeholders.
  5. Prepare reports and memos related to administrative tasks.
  6. Monitor expenditure of funds and ensure compliance with the City’s budget.
  7. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  8. Plan and coordinate meetings and other events.
  9. Attend meetings and other events as required.
  10. Demonstrate superior interpersonal and communication skills.
