
Supply Chain Associate- Receiving

- Receive and process all incoming supplies, equipment, and materials for the hospital.
- Verify accuracy of received items against purchase orders and ensure proper documentation is completed.
- Maintain inventory levels and track stock movements to ensure adequate supply levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with various departments to coordinate timely delivery of supplies to support operations.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies or issues with received items to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area to ensure efficient operations.
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers to resolve any delivery or product issues.
- Utilize inventory management systems to track and monitor supplies and equipment.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and analysis related to receiving operations.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Train and mentor new supply chain associates as needed.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including those related to infection control and safety.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Experience In Warehouse Operations: A Supply Chain Associate- Receiving At Cincinnati Children's Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Warehouse Operations, Including Receiving, Storage, And Distribution Of Goods.
Knowledge Of Supply Chain Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Supply Chain Management Principles, Including Inventory Control, Logistics, And Procurement.
Attention To Detail: As A Supply Chain Associate- Receiving, It Is Crucial To Have Strong Attention To Detail To Ensure Accuracy In Receiving And Storing Inventory, As Well As Maintaining Proper Records And Documentation.
Organizational Skills: This Role Requires Strong Organizational Skills To Effectively Manage And Track Inventory, As Well As Coordinate With Other Departments And Vendors To Ensure Timely Delivery Of Goods.
Communication And Teamwork: Excellent Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Team Are Essential For Success In This Role.
