We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Community Engagement Specialist to join our team and help us build strong relationships with the communities we serve. As a Senior Community Engagement Specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families by developing and implementing strategic community engagement initiatives.   1. Develop and implement strategic community engagement initiatives to promote the health and well-being of children and families.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, leaders, and stakeholders.
  3. Work collaboratively with internal teams to align community engagement efforts with the organization's mission and goals.
  4. Conduct research to identify community needs and develop targeted outreach strategies.
  5. Organize and facilitate community events, workshops, and other activities to promote health education and awareness.
  6. Serve as a liaison between the organization and the community, providing information and resources as needed.
  7. Develop and maintain a database of community partners, contacts, and engagement activities.
  8. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community engagement efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
  9. Stay informed on current trends and best practices in community engagement and health equity.
  10. Act as a spokesperson for the organization at community events and meetings.
  11. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote community engagement initiatives and events.
  12. Train and mentor junior community engagement staff members.
  13. Participate in grant writing and fundraising efforts to support community engagement initiatives.
  14. Represent the organization at local and regional community engagement networks and coalitions.
  15. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with community members and partners.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Community Engagement Or Related Field.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Public Health, Social Work, Or Community Development.

  • Excellent Communication And Public Speaking Skills.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Community Outreach And Education Programs.

  • Knowledge Of Local Community Resources And Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Community Partners.
