
Research Assistant - EHCB Brain Tumor
We are seeking an enthusiastic Research Assistant to join our team in the Environmental Health and Cancers Biology (EHCB) Brain Tumor research group at Cincinnati Children’s. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a passion for research and an eagerness to learn and develop their skills.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing laboratory support, assisting with research projects and helping to maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment. To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in a relevant field and experience working in a laboratory setting. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented and has excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
-Provide laboratory support and assistance for research projects -Help maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment -Organize, manage, and catalog laboratory materials -Perform data analysis and troubleshoot any issues with laboratory equipment -Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents -Stay up to date on current research trends and best practices -Conduct literature searches and review relevant literature -Assist in the development of research protocols and protocols for laboratory safety -Maintain accurate records and documentation of research activities -Monitor laboratory experiments and ensure accurate data collection -Collaborate with other team members to ensure successful completion of research projects -Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and other stakeholders
