Registered Nurse - Cardiology

1. Provide high-quality and compassionate care to pediatric patients in the Cardiology department.
2. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
3. Monitor and assess patient conditions, and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
5. Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and medications.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
7. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
8. Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
9. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of patient care plans.
10. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
11. Stay up-to-date with current trends, research, and advancements in pediatric cardiology.
12. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
13. Act as a role model for other healthcare team members by demonstrating professionalism, compassion, and excellence in patient care.
14. Participate in the orientation and training of new team members.
15. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in patient care and confidentiality.
16. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare facilities to ensure continuity of care for patients.
17. Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
18. Continuously evaluate and improve patient care processes and procedures.
19. Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
20. Attend and participate in departmental and hospital meetings and trainings as required.
