- Conduct and oversee innovative research projects related to pediatric lung diseases, including designing experiments, analyzing data, and publishing findings.
- Collaborate with other researchers and clinicians at Cincinnati Children's to advance our understanding of pulmonary biology and develop new treatments and therapies.
- Teach and mentor students, fellows, and other trainees in the field of pulmonary biology, including providing guidance and support for their research projects.
- Participate in grant writing and fundraising activities to secure funding for research projects and initiatives.
- Act as a leader and role model for promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment, and actively work to create an atmosphere of respect and collaboration.
- Participate in departmental and institutional committees, meetings, and events to contribute to the overall mission and goals of Cincinnati Children's.
- Maintain a strong publication record, presenting research findings at conferences and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and advancements in the field of pulmonary biology, and use this knowledge to inform and guide research projects.
- Communicate research findings and developments to a variety of audiences, including colleagues, students, and the general public.
- Foster relationships and collaborations with external partners, including other research institutions and industry partners.
- Adhere to all ethical and safety standards in research and patient care, ensuring the well-being of all participants.
A Doctoral Degree (Phd Or Md) In Pulmonary Biology Or A Related Field.
A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Post-Doctoral Research Experience In Pulmonary Biology.
A Strong Record Of Scholarly Publications In Peer-Reviewed Journals Related To Pulmonary Biology.
Experience Teaching And Mentoring Students At The Undergraduate And Graduate Level.
Demonstrated Success In Obtaining Grant Funding For Research Projects Related To Pulmonary Biology.
