Pharmacist, Critical Care

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in pediatric critical care and a passion for providing excellent care to patients and their families. To be successful in this role, you must have a Pharm.D. degree from an accredited college of pharmacy and a minimum of two years of pediatric critical care experience. You should also have a current license to practice pharmacy in the state of Ohio. Responsibilities:

1. Provide safe, effective, and evidence-based pharmaceutical care to children in the critical care setting
2. Monitor and assess patient responses to medication therapies
3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop, implement, and monitor patient-specific medication regimens
4. Dispense medications accurately and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
5. Educate and counsel patients and families on medication use, side effects, and other related topics
6. Participate in interdisciplinary patient rounds, medication reconciliation, and other multidisciplinary activities
7. Keep up to date with current pharmacy topics and initiatives related to pediatric critical care
8. Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and other applicable laws
