- Assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic conditions.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for procedures.
- Perform X-rays, casting, and other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the direction of a physician.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-procedure care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Monitor patients for any signs of complications or adverse reactions during procedures.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay up-to-date on new developments and advancements in the field of orthopedics.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.
- Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Comply with all hospital policies and procedures.
- Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and quality improvement.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the hospital and the orthopedic team.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Orthopedic Technology, Nursing, Or Athletic Training.
Certification As An Orthopedic Technologist (Otc) Through The National Board For Certification Of Orthopedic Technologists.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Orthopedic Setting, Preferably In A Pediatric Hospital Or Clinic.
Strong Knowledge Of Orthopedic Procedures And Equipment, Including Casting, Splinting, And Traction.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
