Job Description

Cincinnati Children's is looking for a Coding Representative to join our dynamic team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about coding and has the qualifications and personal tone necessary to be successful in this role. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of coding processes, including ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS, and be committed to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. The Coding Representative must have a thorough understanding of medical coding, medical terminology, and the ability to accurately interpret and apply coding guidelines. Additionally, the Coding Representative must possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a demonstrated commitment to accuracy and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding processes accurately and precisely.
  2. Maintain a thorough understanding of medical coding and medical terminology.
  3. Interpret and apply coding guidelines accurately.
  4. Communicate effectively with other team members and patients.
  5. Uphold high standards of customer service.
  6. Demonstrate commitment to accuracy and quality in all coding-related tasks.
  7. Remain up to date on coding regulations and changes.
  8. Utilize data entry systems to store and update patient information.
  9. Assist with other coding-related tasks as needed.
