  1. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all medical equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with medical equipment and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner.
  3. Maintain accurate and detailed records of all equipment maintenance and repairs.
  4. Collaborate with clinical staff to identify equipment needs and make recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.
  5. Stay updated on new technology and industry standards in order to provide the most effective and efficient service.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to medical equipment.
  7. Communicate with equipment manufacturers and service providers to coordinate repairs and maintenance.
  8. Train other staff members on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
  9. Provide excellent customer service to clinical staff and promptly respond to equipment issues.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained.
  11. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency equipment issues as needed.
  12. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness in equipment maintenance.
  14. Keep accurate inventory of equipment and assist with ordering replacement parts and supplies.
  15. Attend departmental and hospital-wide meetings to stay informed on updates and changes within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Biomedical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Experience Working With Medical Equipment And Devices In A Healthcare Setting

  • Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Medical Device Maintenance Standards

  • Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills

  • Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
