  1. Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for children and families using evidence-based behavioral health techniques.
  2. Develop and implement treatment plans based on the needs of each patient, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  3. Conduct initial evaluations and assessments to identify patients' mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment goals.
  4. Provide education and support to families regarding their child's behavioral health and promote positive coping strategies.
  5. Collaborate and communicate with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  7. Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of behavioral health to ensure high-quality and evidence-based care.
  8. Act as an advocate for patients and families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed in a timely and compassionate manner.
  9. Participate in regular team meetings and case reviews to discuss patient progress and develop treatment plans.
  10. Adhere to all hospital and legal requirements and ethical standards in the provision of care.
  11. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
  12. Continuously evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments to achieve optimal outcomes.
  13. Provide crisis intervention and management as needed.
  14. Collaborate with community resources and referral sources to ensure continuity of care for patients.
  15. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of behavioral health.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Behavioral Health Counseling, Preferably In A Pediatric Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices In Behavioral Health, Such As Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Or Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

  • Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team, Including Physicians, Therapists, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Rapport And Establish Trust With Patients And Their Families.
