If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at Cincinnati Children's as an Associate/Assistant Professor/Staff Psychologist 1/2.As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients and families, providing expert assessments, interventions, and consultations. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and train the next generation of mental health professionals.To be successful in this role, you must have a doctoral degree in psychology or a related field and be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Ohio.   1. Conduct expert assessments of children and families to determine their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  2. Provide evidence-based interventions to children and families to improve their mental health and well-being.
  3. Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  4. Consult with other healthcare providers and community agencies to coordinate care and promote a multidisciplinary approach to treatment.
  5. Contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of psychology and participate in scholarly activities.
  6. Train and supervise students and interns in the field of mental health.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information and treatment progress.
  8. Demonstrate a commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in working with diverse patient populations.
  9. Maintain a professional and ethical demeanor in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  10. Stay current with advancements in the field of psychology through ongoing education and professional development.
  11. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and ethical guidelines related to the practice of psychology.
  12. Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, working together towards the common goal of improving the lives of children and families.
  13. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to facilitate a positive treatment experience.
  14. Demonstrate a strong passion for helping children and families and a dedication to making a difference in their lives.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree In Psychology (Ph.d. Or Psy.d.) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Licensure As A Psychologist In The State Of Ohio.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Clinical Practice, Preferably In A Pediatric Setting.

  • Knowledge And Experience With Evidence-Based Treatment Interventions For Children And Adolescents.

  • Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
