  1. Provide medical care and treatment to adolescent patients in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for adolescent patients.
  3. Conduct thorough patient assessments and screenings to identify any physical, emotional, or social health issues.
  4. Educate and counsel adolescent patients and their families on topics such as healthy behaviors, disease prevention, and medication management.
  5. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in Adolescent Medicine and incorporate them into clinical practice.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  7. Serve as a role model and mentor for medical trainees and students, providing guidance and support in their learning and development.
  8. Participate in departmental and hospital-wide initiatives and quality improvement projects to improve patient care and outcomes.
  9. Collaborate with community organizations and resources to provide comprehensive care and support to adolescent patients.
  10. Adhere to all ethical and professional standards, including maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding the mission and values of Cincinnati Children's.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification In Adolescent Medicine: Applicants Must Have A Valid Board Certification In Adolescent Medicine From The American Board Of Pediatrics Or The American Board Of Internal Medicine.

  • Previous Teaching Experience: Experience In Teaching Medical Students, Residents, And Fellows In A Clinical Setting Is Highly Desirable. This Includes Developing And Implementing Educational Curricula, Providing Feedback And Evaluations, And Mentoring Students.

  • Active Clinical Practice In Adolescent Medicine: Candidates Must Have A Current And Active Clinical Practice In Adolescent Medicine, With A Focus On Providing Comprehensive And Evidence-Based Care To Adolescent Patients.

  • Strong Research Background: A Proven Track Record Of Conducting And Publishing High-Quality Research In The Field Of Adolescent Medicine Is Preferred. This Includes Securing Funding, Presenting At Conferences, And Collaborating With Colleagues On Research Projects.
