Job Description

Responsible for providing technical system support 24x7 of operating system and related mainframe technical and operations areas. Responsible for maintenance and technical support for all mainframe systems software including product currency and supportability. Providing technical guidance as need to application and mainframe related technical teams. Acting as technical liaison between client based needs and mainframe software vendors.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficient in SMP/E, JCL, TSO, zOS System PARMs, JES2MAS, zOS and JES2 exits, Unix System Services

  • Experience with PARALLEL SYSPLEX, Coupling Facilities, CF Policies a plus.

  • Experience with IBM hardware, z14, z15, z16’s a plus

  • Knowledge of TSO REXX, COBOL, Assembler a plus.

  • (10+ years) as a mainframe systems engineer
