Cigna is looking for an experienced and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our team and help us create a world-class digital experience. We’re seeking a creative problem-solver who is up-to-date on the latest standards and trends in web and mobile design and is passionate about creating user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing websites and applications.The ideal candidate should have a portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of user interface design and experience design principles and 4+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design. A strong background in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages is desired. You should be able to work collaboratively with other members of the tech team to develop innovative, customer-centric designs and have excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Design user interfaces for websites and mobile applications that are intuitive, aesthetically pleasing, and user-friendly.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest standards and trends in UI/UX design.
- Work collaboratively with the tech team to develop customer-centric designs.
- Translate customer needs and product requirements into interfaces that are both functional and visually appealing.
- Create prototypes, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other programming languages to create effective designs.
- Test and improve design of existing applications and interfaces.
- Develop high-quality design deliverables such as style guides, user interface guidelines, and detailed specifications.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Provide regular progress updates to project stakeholders.
- Develop user personas and scenarios to inform design decisions.
- Review and provide feedback on designs created by other designers.
- Remain abreast of industry best practices and tools.
