  1. Conduct research and analysis of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  2. Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, including gathering necessary documentation and data.
  3. Support the tax and accounting team in various tasks, such as preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and analyzing financial data.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and teams to gather information and ensure accurate reporting.
  5. Maintain and update financial records and databases, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
  6. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in tax and accounting.
  7. Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

  • Basic Knowledge Of Tax Laws And Regulations: A Tax & Accounting Intern At Cigna Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Basic Tax Laws And Regulations, Including Federal, State, And Local Tax Codes.

  • Proficiency In Accounting Software: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Familiar With Accounting Software Such As Quickbooks Or Sap, As Well As Microsoft Excel.
