- Develop and implement global procurement strategies for Cigna, in alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and identify potential cost savings opportunities through strategic sourcing and category management.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive the execution of procurement initiatives and ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing vendor performance to optimize value and mitigate risk.
- Monitor and analyze current and future market trends, identifying potential risks and opportunities for the company.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop strategies that meet their needs.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes and procedures to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and apply them to improve procurement practices within the company.
- Act as a subject matter expert in procurement and category management, providing guidance and support to team members and other departments.
- Communicate regularly with senior management to report on procurement performance and present recommendations for improvement.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Strategic Sourcing And Category Management, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Procurement Processes, Contract Negotiation, And Supplier Relationship Management.
Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Sourcing Strategies, Driving Cost Savings And Process Improvements.
Excellent Communication, Analytical, And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Senior Leadership.
