  1. Design and implement Splunk infrastructure for Cigna, including configuring data sources, creating dashboards, and optimizing search performance.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Splunk solutions.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest Splunk and Cribl updates, features, and best practices to continuously improve our infrastructure and processes.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the Splunk environment, ensuring high availability and performance.
  5. Develop and maintain technical documentation for the Splunk infrastructure and processes.
  6. Train and mentor team members on Splunk and Cribl usage and best practices.
  7. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical Splunk infrastructure.
  8. Proactively identify opportunities to optimize and improve existing Splunk infrastructure and processes.
  9. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and present findings and recommendations.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert for Splunk and Cribl, providing guidance and support to other members of the team.
  11. Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and implement security best practices within the Splunk environment.
  12. Continuously evaluate new technologies and tools that could enhance our Splunk infrastructure and make recommendations for implementation.
  13. Manage and prioritize multiple projects, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
  14. Contribute to the development and implementation of Splunk-related policies and procedures.
  15. Participate in the recruitment and selection process for new team members, including conducting interviews and evaluating candidates' technical skills.
  16. Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team by sharing knowledge and promoting best practices.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Designing And Implementing Splunk And Cribl Solutions In A Large Enterprise Environment.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Splunk Core Components, Such As Forwarders, Indexers, Search Heads, And Deployment Servers.

  • Familiarity With Cribl Logstream And Its Capabilities For Data Routing, Transformation, And Enrichment.

  • Proven Experience In Troubleshooting And Optimizing Splunk And Cribl Configurations For Performance And Reliability.
